Have you ever wanted to try pottery? Well, now’s your chance! AX's new ceramics centre coordinator, Matt Cripps, is hosting "Intro to Handbuilt Pottery for Beginners," a 3-day pottery workshop that will guide you through the process of creating your first pieces of pottery. This workshop will take place at AX on September 12 and 13 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and September 26 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

 

Masks and physical distancing are required at all times in the AX building and during the workshop.

 

ts get to keep all of the work they create, and this workshop does NOT include using a pottery wheel.

 

Cost: $200/person. Costs include all materials including a 10kg bag of clay and a pottery tool kit. Participants get to keep the remaining clay and tool kit after the workshop.
